Hood Hill - Panoramic View from Sutton Bank, Yorkshire.

This superb panoramic view is associated with the world famous Vet - James Herriot. James described it as "England's Finest View". It is featured currently in the opening scenes of the TV series Yorkshire Vet.
Just left of Hood Hill, can be seen the sheer cliff edge where gliders are towed off by Sutton Bank Gliding Club.

I painted this view in 2004, when we lived in Thirsk (Darrowby!) opposite James Herriot's original practice in Skeldale House, Kirkgate.

The view is looking south west from Sutton Bank. I have tried to capture the breathtaking view and colours visible from this location.

The Limited Edition print is from an original watercolour painted in 2004.
Each print is signed and numbered and limited to 200 in each size. The print is on Bockingford Inkjet Paper to faithfully reproduce the original.
Included will be an acid barrier card to place behind the print when framing.
If you choose the mounted option this will be either Champagne or Ivory, with borders of 4/5 cm.

I have other works with the Herriot/Thirsk connection on Etsy - please check the "Yorkshire" tab to find these quickly.

The prints are usually printed on Bockingford 190g/sm Inkjet Textured Watercolour Paper to faithfully replicate the Original Watercolour Painting.

Some prints are on special Epson smooth Inkjet paper or Saunders Waterford range - this is usually noted in the description.

Each print will be signed in pencil, and dated with the current year, unless otherwise specified in the description.

Limited edition prints will also be numbered.

An acid barrier card will also be supplied to be placed behind the print when framing.

These prints are available either unmounted, or mounted.

The 'A4' size prints mounts will have approximately 2"/2.5" borders, in either "Ivory" or "Champagne", if the print is offered in the 'A5' option the mount borders may be smaller.
